Stainless steel and titanium with topazjust did this tonight. it's a size 6.5. the top disk is 1" diameter titanium.

thanks. the more i look at the piece, the more i want to change the disk. i might do a series of this piece just to get it out of my head. i've got a couple different ideas on variations for this setting.

I forgot to add my questions.... Which partis titanium and wich part stainless. I assume this is a cold connection piece sans soldering right?

the disk is titanium. yes, cold connected. i haven't soldered in quite a while...just got tired of it. welding, on the other hand, is something i'm trying to incorporate into my work. i'm getting better with smaller welds, but not where i want to be yet.

This is a cool shot, I didn't think the screws elevated the disk that far up. But it gives the design a really nice industrial/elegant edge!

This is just breathtaking! I'd really love to see some of these modeled. You have some absolutely beautiful work here, but this one is seriously making me drool ...plus I'm just a real sucker for titanium.
