intense, and very cool. I love the tentacles/suction cups.... very realisitic looking... it gives the whole piece a bizarre surreal-reality. Very well done!

cthulhu mythos...horrific tale! lovecraft is amazing at his details and his creatures. u displayed it beautifully...if only half the people that posted actually understood the meaning (fruit?)...i love it

also, those dark, sullen black eyes are far scarier than tentacles flowing out of someones head.. far scarier....

those tentacles are amazing! how did you get that comic-like bold outline effect? Was that done manually or was there a process to oding it that is explained easily?
once again, the colours in this are great. The only thing i think i might havea problem with is the sharp edge on the thing where her mouth should be.. everything else in this picture flows synergetically but the sharp corners just arent 'feng shui' if you get my meaning.

stick this in a gallery hun... its great... looks like her brains are falling out lol. seriously though, im loving the texture of this peice, and the grittyness (is gritty the right word?) versus the smoothness of the octopi. anyway its all good. Thumbs up.

i try as often as possible to use my own textures and images - at the risk of sounding egotistical (which yes i am, but anyway...) it's bad enough having my techniques copied by other artists around here - let alone having the same images and textures used...

expanding skills = good (i'm all for education, i am going back to school to get my masters to teach fine art)
learning a technique from someone and beating it into the ground again and again = bad
