Obligatory fanart based off my current obsession, an awesome little side-scrolling platformer named Limbo. It's a really beautifully dark game, very Ico-meets-Heart-of-Darkness, and the whole game is done in this art style. I absolutely love it.Had a lot of fun with the gradients in the background here, everything is handpainted - no vectors, no fill tool. That's why it's a little squiggly here and there, it is also pretty quick work. But it was fun!
Just a little something new from me as it's been a while.

This is referenced from the game (but I edited the scene a little), and Limbo is copyrighted to some game company I think it's called Playdead XD The drawing is mine.

Man, I love Limbo. It's one of my favorite games haha~ It's brilliant, I love how well drawn and animated it is an that there's like, no music. Brilliant work per usual x3

Thanks! I copied the art style almost exactly - though I made it grassier. I would like to do more scenes from the game though, and maybe develop my own style of them in the process. Really glad you like it

Yeahhhh but I think for the sort of game it is, very like Ico with no major enemies, mostly running around pulling levers and solving mini puzzles and things, it'd be very tedious if it was a long game. I'm coming up on halfway through it now and I think I'll probably be happy enough with the length.
