Nomad's Journal. February 25, 2009:Didn't sleep tonight. Rarely do these days.
Got bored while working on NFR. Decided to do something a little different.
Read 'Watchmen' recently. Liked it. Liked the character 'Rorschach' even more.
Is it pronounced, "raw-shack" or "ror-shock"? Heard it pronounced both ways..
Hurrm....oh well.
New favorite superhero? Possibly.

Everyone calls him "roar-shack" in the movie and in the official narration of the novel, though.

It's pronounced "raw-shack", =3. I'm really glad you did this though. I loved the movie greatly, and haven't had the chance to read it yet, ^^". I love Rorschach and Dr. Manhattan. Both VERY interesting characters,

Personally, watchmen didn't sit too well with me. Everyone was too damn depressed.

Yeah, it's definitely not the best book ever, but I liked it enough to hope that they don't rape it in theaters.

I feel the rape cannot be avoided (gosh, that felt funny writing). From the trailer alone it feels like they are gloryfying and adding special effects to a degree it completely misses the point.
But I will see it and give my vote.

It's not quite as bad as the Dragon Ball Z or the Chun Li movies. At least they try to follow the source-material here.

I've never actually heard of The Watchmen until the movie came out. I do have a question about him though. What is his power? After I saw Rorschach I became intrigued by him.

...he breaks pinkys? He doesn't really have a power per se, he's more like Batman, without the gadgets. Read the novel before seeing the movie, you can download it via torrents and such. You'll see what I mean.

Well I saw part of the audio book adaptation of the novel and they pronounced it that way, but ol' Merriam Webster says, "NO 'RAW-SHOCK' FAGS."
