I really enjoy this piece because you did such a great job of capturing a personality in her. From her shoulder positions and head tilt, to the facial expression, hairstyle and added sparkles, she conveys a strong idea of personality even more than depicting a real physical person. I like that, in your execution of light and shade, you avoided highlighting her bosom, despite the empire-high waist of her peplum. She thus remains feminine without being sexual. The flip of her bangs, and the little extra tuft of hair on top, give her a casual look, as do the wavy openings of her sleeves and her lack of apparent makeup. She looks friendly, approachable, interested, relaxed, and sincere. I'd say your picture is more a picture of these qualities than of a girl; she's only the medium through which you expressed them.
I want to make a couple of observations, though, wherein I think some improvement could be made. first, a little darker shadows under her sleeves and chin might add depth and vibrancy to the image. Often, light is depicted best in a drawing by its contrast with darkness. If we want a subject to look brightly lit, we must add some shadows. My second suggestion is about the horizontal row of highlights on her bangs. I like what they provide, and I'm familiar with this sort of thing in some kinds of manga. But I think that what could improve this would be if you made the row arc up in the middle a little. It would make her head look rounder. You do such a good job of depicting shape and curve in her hair with your line-work, but that impression is confounded by the straight, flat look of those highlights.

Next time I will use more darker shadows, they do seem pretty light.
I'll be more careful from where I put the lighting for the hair,
I guess I just slap some on (bad habit of mine)

I'm really glad I found this piece! The colors you use match so well with the overall theme. Everything is a shade of purple/pink, and I love how you even incorporated it into the skin! I also love the use of colored lineart! It makes everything look so soft which I absolutely love ^^
I also adore the way you colored the eyes. They're so lifelike and seem to sparkle. The sparkles/stars you added throughout the piece also really fits well with the drawing. Overall I'm getting a galaxy sort-of vibe.
The shading is also really well done! It ties in well with the overall softness of the drawing, with a few cell-shaded spots up in the face area that I feel draws the attention to that part. The hair is also beautiful and incorporates more of the galaxy purple/pink theme. Honestly, the only critique I would have to give would be that the head itself looks a little large compared to everything else. Maybe it's because the neck looks a little thin?
Overall, a wonderfully drawn piece with a nice aesthetic that really draws a person's attention to it! Continue the great work and I can't wait to see what else you have in store! ^^

I am not usualy a fan of the anime/manga style range, but this is well done and I think you have a good grasp of several aspects of art! Like I said, I am not personaly a fan of the style, but you are free to draw however you like- and there are several things I love about this! First of all, the colors you chose are very cohesively incorperated and exectuted in a way that draws the eye to your art. I imidiatly saw this in my notifications and was compeled to take a closer look, so great job! Also, the drawing is altogeather neat and the line art is solid. So wonderful job at making a clean, finished looking final product! There are a few things you can improve on, the first being the size of the forhead and top of the head. This doesn't stick out unless you look closely, but it is noticable. The face is a bit too far down on the head in whole, making her hair look gigantic in comparison. To fix this, remember that the uper eyelid always rests in the center of the head before you draw on hair. The eyebrows then go above that halfway guideline and the rest of the features are below. This is a eas mistake to fix in he future, and even in a non realistic style it helps make a face look more natural. Another thing that I think this drawing would benifit from is a background. Now you can ignore this entirely, it's not that big of deal, but astheticly the weird-ass green grey that deviantart uses to backdrop art is not flattering in any way and I personaly feel like it devalues the hard work you put into the art. Again, you can totaly ignore that feedback, I am just a weirdly pick person

now that I look at it, the head looks pretty big
I'll try sketching the whole head before i start drawing the hair, i usually just sketch the face and start right away
