Mmm... nope, in fact, if you check closely, the hints are all around the whole story *anime or manga*, people just started to realize after Naruto and Sasuke became teenage, that the hints became a bit stronger and more direct, but they've been there the whole time

I was delighted, to be true. Last... I don't know, 100? Maybe more chaps was so serious it started to be a lil tough for people and they was like " It was so funnier when they was 12."...
Besides, for me, again, it is ADORABLE, that Kish was making Naruto "brightness" to shine again.
So many people started to think, that Uzumaki is Oh-so-super-cool... And now just Naruto-classic show up.
More interesting is, that Naruto didn't want to "subjecting" Sasuke, however Sai was there with others from "harem".
Does that mean, that Naruto DON'T WANNA OTHERS to SEE "his" Sasuke? It is nothing like "It is my teammate" bull, coz, as said, Sai IS there... And so I was about "short" note x.X

I actually enjoyed the chapter. It was nice to see a bit of humor again. Though it may have been funnier if Sakura wasn't the only one to end up with a bloody nose from it.
It also resolves a nice little plot thread that's been running since chapter one. Naruto developed the original female version and taught it to Kohohamaru, Konohamaru developed the reverse version which Naruto then learned. Also, yes, it works quite well on stronger people because it's a complete nonsense distraction technique that goes against any otherwise intelligent strategy.

I loved that chapter! It was so ridiculous that I cracked up for like 5 minutes. But then again I'm glad that Kaguya didn't have bloody nose actually because that would have been pushing it.. sasuke should have gotten bloody nose

I think Naruto chapter 500-whatever is the easiest to get lost in cos it's all action (which takes 5 seconds to read) and can get quite repetitive. Things start getting more interesting once Sasuke arrives

Didn't you know? The author wanted to make Naruto and Sasuke official but the publishers forbade it to make the manga/anime appeal more to a younger audience. So he wants the ending to be possible to be interpreted either way. He's probably slowly making his way to that.

I've heard that but then I can't find any actual proof so I'm taking these claims with a grain of salt..
although I find the whole thing about hiding homosexuality from 'younger audiences' to be a load of crap. Yaoi is unrealistic so it should be, but it's dumb that Sasuke and Naruto's relationship had to be masked w/ friendship and brotherhood or whatever (if the rumor is true)

If the rumor is true, it doesn't necessarily mean that they're hiding something behind friendship, brotherhood cause these are important, main aspects of the story - not just added to be a disguise, love would be just another layer of their relationship. The publishers would only influence how bold Kishi could be in showing the love (or persuade him to show more of other pairings) but we must remember that it is shonen and romance isn't main theme anyway. The kiss in the beginning of manga or Haku plot shows that Kishi is bold and original from the very begging and he could do this kind of ending - but saying that he was planning to make it but will not... the hardest thing to believe is that he would do such giant spoiler to his own story.

Haha I know their friendship is the main aspect of the story, but I'm talking about how the fandom seems to use it as an excuse to deny any possibility of romantic feeling between the two despite Kishi's enormous development of their relationship. It's like they're saying, "it's a shonen manga so there can't be any canon gay pairings" which is a flawed argument (though I agree romance isn't the main theme).
I don't know if it's true that Kishimoto originally intended Naruto and Sasuke to be together; I'm saying if it is true + editors did really prevent him from expressing this boldly in his manga, that was a shit move.

When you put it like this I agree 100%, especially what you said about the argument that shonen manga that can't have any canon gay pairings. If Kishi really intended them being together I hope he will show it (maybe more subtle way) but if really someone prevents it... it would be a shame :/ I'm not talking just about fans feelings but Kishi is amazing artist who deserves to have full control over his work. If editors want to make it less controversial it becomes also less creative, original and groundbreaking.
