Spirit Goth. My favourite work so far. I just love it.I've finally learned to work in really high-res so and I believe it shows in this piece. I'm getting faster, too.

Amazing workβ¦
The colour is soβ¦ strongβ¦i don't find the words to express it in a better way.
Looking at this, I start feeling like using colours in the "written" examination in art this thursday though I definitely shouldn't do so^^
And by the way: "Gimme more SiD" really helped me to endure history lessons⦠smiling and humming all the time.

Nice and cold... if I had to use just three words, which, I won't.
First, the framing; the white (reminds me of an icy desert) and the pale yet somehow incredibly sharp-and-soft-spectral-kind-of blue (I don't know the technical term for the color, okay?
The Red also is Life; because hey, it's near where her heart should be (if that's not her shoulder) so it's a cycle of Life and Death.
Her face bears many things, but let me simply say that it shows her awareness of the cold and the gone; Loss and Pain, simple yet enormous, bare-faced yet masqued.
Her hair (a reference, usually, to wit or mind) is all around, because that is what she is; cosmos in chaos, entropy without shift, borders with infinity and THAT is what makes her aware of HERSELF more (if we take into account the ''individualism'' that makes the once-Gothic social alignment much more different)

Well, you definitely have your own style, Gaz. The fact you managed to pull it off in two hours is rather impressive. I just wish I knew how much was the photograph and how much was your work. Regardless, it's one of the most impressive works I've seen from you. Bravo and such.

As I said before, I love the contrast thing you have going on
Although, I gotta say you sometimes tend to blur stuff a bit too much and it doesn't looks all that balanced (opposed to the sharpness of the picture).
And yeah, I think it's good you're satisfied with your work, but you yourself know that you'll find this picture to be "not so awesome" in a couple of years, so striving for perfection is what it's all about I think.

True that. But every now and then you reach a plateau in your work, both musically and artwise, which makes you think "how am I ever gonna top this?" ... But in the end you always do anyway... I try to remember that, but...
