Here is my first art submission of 2011
This work came to me by *stagehand007 who asked me to test out his new V4 Texture. While I progressed on with this image I couldn't help but think of my friend, Aimee. The image, in my mind, screams her. So I would like to dedicate this image to her.

The expression is my favorite part, I think. This sort of emotional distance, even while engaged in wonder and life. And the pose, dancing and standing still all at once. A sense of conflict. Stillness. Particularly with the stone and night sky, it feels cold, silent, and alone.
