There's a 'game' you can play, kinda like this. You put a number of long red strings in a bowl, and everybody takes an end. If there's an odd number, one end is untied. Whoever's end you're joined to you spend the night with.
And the person with the odd string gets to spend time with any couple they like.
It's like a chinese themed key-party.
