Art trade with:I hope you like it! I was inspired by your Arcade Ymiko. The design was super adorable, perfect for a chibi version!
I also gave her some cute socks because I thought it was fitting for the chibi theme

I've never thought about giving her a smaller sock, beside the knee close one. That'll sure become a new piece of the design ( or at least from any other design I can fit it in ).
It feels weird to put her socks in, when she's using shorts ( which the Arcade design kinda has ). In fact, Arcade Youmiko is the Dimensional nickname of the real Youmiko
( I've made a lot of alternate universe counterparts of her and Dan ). Now that I think about it, I might have taught this to you before '-' ( so, nevemind ).
Everything has a little lore to it, in a way. The socks are actually her way of covering her leg, which she feels weird showing. It doesn't need to cover it all, just a piece
of it is enough to make her more comfortable. As for the lasso in her hair: it's a present from Hayuka, she receives during my novel's first arc. Oh, the necklace is also
from the novel, it holds the souls of Hayuka and two other girls ( which are still to appear ) - in a Madoka fashion ( besides the whole "Wi-fi" radius of the souls in the
anime ). Basically, they die - if that thing breaks; and Youmiko is not really aware of that in the novel.
Okay, enough with the lore. Although, I miss writing that novel '-'
( still, it doesn't go anywhere... )
I've made a lot of "remixes" of her original design, which was just a black sleeveless jacket with a white skirt and long socks. It's funny to think that her design changed
that much, from then on...
I barely draw her original design anymore =/

I like the Idea with the necklace, Madoka is actually my favorite anime so thats really nice c: But I always really love Youmikos design so I'm really glad you like it :3

I took a lot of inspiration from that anime. In some way, I think my
overall style carries a little of it within itself
I don't think people see her design as something appealing. At least
there isn't many comments on it. Actually, there isn't many comments,
period xD
Her skincolor is somewhat difficult to shade, too. I'm always on the fence
when doing so; Always between a red shading or a purple shading. Which
do you like better? Cold colors, in general, are quite the struggle to me '-'
