Personality:
He usually looks like your friendly dealer next door the type you’d avoid walking on the same side of the street with. He doesn’t put much effort into looking friendly at six in the morning (who actually would), but gives you a warm smile should he see you in need of one. Axel is a gentle giant most of the time and likes to talk about God and the world, or share some of his good advice probably even a smoke or two.
He doesn’t particularly care about what certain societies find as good or bad and trusts his own intuition when it comes to interpersonal relations (and pretty much anything else). That means that he won’t hesitate to resort to violence if the situation calls for it, in his opinion. He can behave quite childish and unreasonable when he doesn’t want to do something and it's not easy to change his mind.

History:
Born to a mother of Scandinavian origins and a father with probably Jamaican roots, Axel is the oldest of three children, consisting of himself, a sister (15) and a half brother (8). His father passed away shortly before his sister was born and his family moved in with his father’s parents. Even with the loss, he had a considerably happy childhood and his mother remarried a few years later. Unfortunately, the second marriage didn’t go well and in the end, his mother was single again but now with an additional mouth to feed. At that time, he got to know about his grandparents from his mother’s side, who had been against her first marriage. Despite their not very rosy financial situation, Axel convinced his mother to not crawl right back to her parents. Why would they never care about them before and show up only now?

Although he had planned to go work after graduation so he could earn some money for the family, his mother didn’t want him to give up on his future. She knew that he had musical talent and wouldn’t let it go to waste, especially since Axel loved music like his father did.
That’s when he saw no other way but talk to his rich grandfather in his first year of University. His grandfather offered to take care of his family and even pay for his tuition fee, should he manage to transfer into a better school. Axel knew about the old man’s high standards and what in his opinion a good enough school was. He didn’t believe any high class University would take him and decided to continue the discussion when, maybe through a miracle, he got accepted into one. Said miracle happened when one day an invitation to a ‘Nosh University’ arrived, ironically the same school his grandfather graduated from.

He likes to run around with as little clothing as possible when he’s (almost) alone in his room. Or a friend’s room, depending on the friend. His sense of decency and privacy is questionable.

Has his right ear and his tongue pierced. Yes, he almost fainted at the second, but he was going to win that bet.

A sure way to get him mad is to insult his family or close friends. He had started and been in more fights than one would expect. He has a few scars from said fights.
