OKAY SOOO. Artsy junk as usual. I'm working on refining my style and working out the things that are clearly problems. The way I draw hair is rather inconvenient. I actually don't like it all that much. I love hair that just FLUFFS, but the way I draw it makes it look lop-sided if the canvas is flipped. It also doesn't work with Ray's incredibly hard to draw hair. So I tried a different method of it. He's got really fluffy hair. It spikes up in the back, it goes forward, but he's also got a ponytail.

As far as Ray goes, he's still one of my favorite OCs ever. I just don't like his design very much, but I don't have the heart to really change it. I removed the pink in his ear fins because I decided I didn't really like it. I debated (for a very very long time, too) removing his stripes since they take away from his mature look, but they're so RAY, that I didn't have the heart to really take them out. (I actually really do not like his stripes as far as character design ? But they've basically become a signature thing for him AAGHHHH---- years of owning a character will do that to you.)

I've gone through so many different phases. Ray has followed me through most of them. Right now, my favorite things are armored, over complicated non-sense design in more dull colors. Adventurer style things. I sort of put that on Ray, but not as much as I would like. Q v Q

I don't draw him as much because the people I basically drew him for don't even look at my stuff anymore. Q v Q ;;; If anyone really misses seeing him, please tell me ?? I sort of feel like people got bored of him ? q m q / It was really discouraging, I was always really excited to share new things about him, but he was usually brushed off. (I actually drew this because Chenouin drew him and made me really think about him)
