Ok, so cute 'n creepy girls are getting to be quite pervasive in the visual art world, and more and more small-time artists get compared to the big leaguers.
To me, having one's work be called Dirge-esque(or *insert name of a big leaguer here*-esque) would be something of a compliment - personally, I admire Roman Dirge's work. Having my own character compared to a character of said artist, however, is, I think, disheartening.
I'm a great, big fan of the Lenore comics, and I think your character here looks nothing like her(which I mean as a compliment). She stands on her own quite well. Tthough she has a Burton/Dirge feel to her, she is her own character and quite unique.
...
But maybe I'm the only one who would be disheartened by having my own character be thought of as fanart of someone else's work.

hey thanks alot. yeah whenever i see mine[ or anyones] work being compared to great big name artists i don't really know what to say. i'm thankful that you compare my work to theirs and yet not so thankful... but i do appreciate that you understand what i mean
