It has come to be that Steve Harwell, formerly of my favorite ska punk band Smash Mouth, is now on his death bed and has but a few days to live before final stage chronic liver failure takes him.
I'm deeply saddened by the legend, who brought us all the good songs like All Star and Walkin' on the Sun, as well as my personal favorite Space Man (from 2003's "Get the Picture?"), has to unfortunately go.
This may take me...months to get over, like the time I found out PATD broke up and was distraught until the beginning of summer vacation, or the time I found out that founding Skylit Drive vocalist Jordan Blake died from, as of the time I'm typing this, unrevealed causes.
But, the unfortunate thing is that we have to accept that things come and things go. Even if we don't want to.

Whatever would be the case, this is my farewell post to Steve Harwell.
We'll miss you, and we'll never forget the great things you brought to us.

asides from the things he did at that beer & wine festival in new york...he was drunk, i don't think he intentionally did it.
