Commission for *Fullmoonstar of his wolf howling.Will write more later.
I was experimenting and painting is very detailed, the original is better than scan. I enjoy so much landscape painting.
Mixed media on A3 format watercolor board.

This is really gorgeous! Something about the cliff the wolf is on troubles me though, it doesn't seem to stand out from the background quite as much as it could, I'm not sure if that was intentional. I think the problem is the background having so much more "light" in it, I understand the light source is hitting more of it, but if you notice the little cliff behind the wolf is brighter than the cliff the wolf is on as well. Oh well take it or leave it, you put a ton more time into a background than I ever have so take the observance with a grain of salt

I love how the light looks on the mountains, the small details on the fur, and how the trees look natural by having them going up the side of the mountain and not stopping in a straight line.

I too love landscapes. The ones I've been doing for my portfolio see to come out better when I don't have anything else in the picture.. lol XD I love the tiny details in the vallies!
