Description Here he is! Almost completely finished, aside from the fact that I've yet to glue the eyes and mouth yet.

He's bigger than I thought he'd be (almost in perfect scale with my official Oswald doll, though just a bit taller-- which reminds me, yes, I do intend on tweaking this pattern to make a "vintage" Oswald to match!)

So,... How does he look? Was my reviving of an 80-year-old pattern a success?

Wait, didn't Charlotte Clarke's doll have whiskers? Am I right, or am I having a Mandela Effect moment? 🤔❔

I did see some photo which show the doll with or without whiskers, which could mean some people made them differently since Walt disney did release the patterns when Charlotte couldn't keep up with the high demand for the dolls.

I also must ask if there's any possibly template to make our own plush

The pattern's out there, though I'm not sure if I could share a template so easily (mainly a problem of being able to scan it-- it's a tad big!)

But it IS out there and quite easy to find from pattern sellers (for cheap, too)

I even asked the sellers if they could make a PDF, and it couldn't quite be done due to the size of it.

One day, I may attempt to shrink the pattern, but at the moment I'm unable to (sorry about that!)

I have to say you've done an excellent job bringing back this old plush pattern. To be frank I've always like the look of the vintage doll. Nicely Done!

This is pretty impressive! It's cool seeing Mickey as a doll like this. You did a great job creating the doll with Mickey's traditional appearance!

Thanks! I actually want to make one that looks aged and worn (maybe slightly creepy) to reflect the look of some of those I've seen on the market before. Some would say "primitive dolls", but I'm not sure if that would count for this or not. Oh, well!

Cute! His hands are a bit wonky, but the rest looks awesome.

I know, but I didn't want to alter the pattern at all. Look up vintage Mickey dolls from this pattern, and they'll all have the strange hands like that XD
