The scanned copy was purple so I put it to grayscale in photoshop and added a border.

Taken for my photography class. I think the negative had a scratch on it, which is the white mark on the finger. This is my Evenstar necklace.

Evenstar is an old term for the "evening star", the planet Venus.

The Evenstar is a jewelled pendant which Arwen gives to her love Aragorn. It was invented for The Lord of the Rings film trilogy, produced by New Line Cinema and directed by Peter Jackson.

It replaces Tolkien's Elfstone (Elessar), a green gem set in an eagle-shaped brooch which Arwen's grandmother Galadriel gives to Aragorn as a wedding gift in advance, appearing in The Fellowship of the Ring.

The Evenstar also appears in Electronic Arts' The Battle for Middle-earth series of real-time strategy games. It gives powers, purchased by power points, to the forces of good, as opposed to the One Ring which gives powers to the forces of evil.
