COMMISSIONS OPEN fav.me/d9irijh
This is my entry for the Aqua Collab Challenge over at watercolorists in collaboration with the lovely Kirschpraline . The them was "Opposites Attract" and we both had to paint something with opposing themes. We chose Sun/Rain, and you can guess which I chose You can see her entry here: fav.me/ddx36k1

I actually went with sun even though I love rain and I've done countless rainy artworks over the years I thought I should try something I don't get around to doing very often so yeah...had a bit of trouble coming up with a concept for this But then after a lot of sketching came up with this little idea and I liked it enough to go for it. Since storybook illustrations is something I personally really love, and themes with little fairyfolk/elves/forest folk are also something I like...I'm glad I actually painted something along those lines Would love to explore these themes more in my works
Really enjoyed working on this, and it's not often I make a finished watercolour painting so this was a good learning experience
