Marching bands...sadly, my school doesn't have one (my honor's sophomore english/AP US history teacher linked it to the year he had a class full of marching band percussionists who all failed the test on poetic foot and meter. That was the year our marching band ceased to be), nor a drumline, but we do have the best high school percussion ensemble in my state! 8D We just have the best teacher. =w=

Just trying to hahaaha I don't know. But it makes a whole lot of sense. Bang = good Blow = sucks = bad... So percussion is good.. Unlike the rest of the band there isn't much to it, pit is a good place for a beginner.
