This pterosaur was seen in "Prehistoric Park" in the sixth episode "SuperCroc" - Deinosuchus. where one Nyctosaurus was eaten by a Deinosuchus it flying down for a another fish suddenly the Deinosuchus errupts out of the sea and ate it.

I have a theory that this crest had a membrane and was used as a sort of mix between third wing, thermoregulator and sign of sexual maturity.

The sail theory was disproved by Benton... Careful examination of the "antler" bones show no evidence for membrane attachment...

Actually, more recent careful examinations of the fossils indicates that there was no skin attachment on the antler-like structures indicating that Nycto did not have a sail as was previously speculated.

No, that was a sea pterosaur. Don't think it was a rudder either. It might have been for display but apparently both sexes had them. Also, only adults had antlers...
