I got to give you one big smile... Thanks dear for the comment and the effort behind it. It is not the time or the ammount of words that make a comment valuable. It is the ammount and quality of thought behind it. Usually the first thing that comes to mind verbalizing the answer to "Why I like this" is sufficient. I appreciate the effort towards better commenting... Judging form this comment you are good at it (here is another smile)

I visited Crete back in.. '97? with a then time girlfriend, but we stayed on the exact opposite site of the island, east of Ierapetra. A disastrous holiday if ever I had one... the appartment we stayed in was really crappy, I dropped my camera and ruined it, and we broke up about a week after we returned to Holland. We never quite managed to get all the way to Chania.

I may want to go back someday and see the other side of the island, though. As usual, however, there are too many places to visit and too little time to do so.
