"I've been having a reoccurring dream. The redundancy, although frequent, has left me without a pure memory of those moments. I do, however, recall the taste of coin in my mouth. My body felt frail, weak, nothing but thin skin stretched over bone. My fur was shameful. The air around me was tearing at my body so maddeningly I lost all sense of hearing. How loud it was, how incredibly loud. I've never heard such pitch that drowned out my own voice, not even the harsh winters of my homeland brought on such deafness. Though it did not cause pain to my ears, it caused everything to become but a blur. No amount of focus gave me relief. This was not all that amounted to this instance. My chest was full of dull throbbing. The Eclipse was with me still. Always with me. Always there. There in that loud place of air and the old taste of blood in my throat. It clung around me as it had been all this time. As this all was surrounding me, I was moving backwards; moving away from something for reasons I cannot figure when awake. I was not in total control, no, there was another presence within me. Possession, a mad spirit, a thousand names this force is called. Then everything stopped. The air was still, the loud wailing ceased. Then it came again, harder, a screeching mad thing with so many voices. They curled around my being in spirals. My lungs collapsed and my mouth bled, my heart clenched itself and froze, my eyes hurt from such blinding white so shut them tight without relief. My body gave way and I fell there, I fell and stayed still. I was surrounded by my own red because I could smell its pungency, that old metal I would never get used to. At that instant the siren of voices stalled and it was quiet. It was so quiet I could hear my breath as it returned to me. My eyes opened and there was a faint distant figure and it came nearer...and I could breath well and the Eclipse hid itself deep and became dormant. A hand reached towards me and I allowed it across my body. Warm, warm I've not found anywhere for so long. It was you, you and your papers and folders and pens without caps. I saw your smile and you said some words I could not understand, I did not need to understand; you were there. Your presence was enough to drive it all away. So I closed my eyes again not out of pain, but for an eternal rest. The rest I've been afraid of, that has haunted me since I came into its grasp. Everything was then okay. I closed my eyes and did not open them again."
