LOL~! Valentines Colors FTW~! 8'D I think Lee looks good in red~!

my Ren-chan's birthday is tomorrow, so is valentines day! and I couldn't wait to post this up, i'm happy with how it turned out

here's a story to go with it~

"Oh Poppa! this is gonna be the best birthday ever, I just know it!" Ren exclaimed while carrying a bunch of presents in his arms.

"I do hope you enjoy it my little bug" Lee chuckled as he ruffled his youngest son's messy hair.

Ren giggled and stared at his presents with glee, "lets see, I got one from Uncle Shika and Aunt Ino, and Uncle Naru and Aunt Nata, and I even got one from Uncle Gaara-sama and Aunt Zazike in the Sand village!" he smiled to himself.

"But thats not all" Lee said, "there's even more for you waiting and home with your mother!" he smiled.

Ren looked up at his father, "wow! really poppa? I can't wait!" then smiled again. Ren was never the one to care about such things, like how many presents he got, he was happy enough to get a simple "Happy Birthday" or a hug, none of that mattered to him at all.

Ren and his father trotted down the dirt path, which was covered with fresh cherry blossom petals, the air was crisp and clean and smelled lovely. Ren stopped in his tracks and stood there for a moment or two until Lee noticed that Ren had dissapeared. he looked over his shoulder and noticed the small boy just standing there in his own little world. "Ren-chan, what are you doing? I thought we were heading home" Lee called out to him then walked over to where he was.

The small boy stood there for another moment or two then bent down and picked up a cherry blossom that had fallen off one of the trees. He inhaled the sweet scent of it then smiled to himself and continued walking, his father chuckled at him and followed his son.

A moment or two passed as the two of them walked along the path, but soon enough Ren had stopped dead in his tracks. His father looked back at him again and cocked a brow.

"What's wrong, bug?" he asked in a worried tone. "shh, Poppa..I-I heard something in the bushes.." Ren whispered in a softer voice.

Lee hurried over to his son and whipped out a kunai from his chunin vest, he stood there alert, one hand placed on his son's shoulder and the other with a kunai out and ready to strike. They both heard the noise from the bush this time and stood there waiting in anticipation.

"Whoever you are, I demand you come out and show yourselves!" Lee yelled, with his hand still placed on Ren's shoulder. They both waited there alert, waiting for something to jump out and attack...or at least thats what they both thought until a familiar pink and black haired boy made his way out of the bushes grumbling to himself, slowly making his way over to Ren and Lee.

"Sasu-teme? what are you doing here?" Ren asked him in shock, Lee let out a sigh of relief and put his kunai back into his vest.

Without another word Sasu shoved a blue colored bag with bright red wrapping paper into Ren's face. Ren stared at the bag, eyes widened in shock and suprise.

Sasu sighed heavily, "Happy Birthday, dobe.." he muttered loud enough for Ren and Lee to hear him. Lee smiled at the young Uchiha and placed his two hands onto his son's shoulders and smiled again.

"Sasu-teme..w-why did you...?" he asked him, his eyes still widened with shock, and wondered what had just happened.

Sasu sighed again. "well dobe, I guess your kind of my friend...and since its your birthday and all I though I should at least give you something..." he muttered again as he stuffed a hand into his pocket.

Ren stared at the bag then at Sasu again, and lowered his head angrily. "you...its all lies!" he shouted, Lee stared at Ren in shock but kept quiet, he didn't want to interfere.

"What the heck are you talking about, dobe?" Sasu grumbled angrily.

Ren glared at him, "its a lie! you only gave this to me because your parents made you..not because you care! RIGHT?" he yelled again, clenching his teeth togeather.

"what? well..the first part was right..mom and dad insisted I give a present to you.." he mumbled again.

"well, keep your stupid present teme! I don't want it if thats all you did it for! its all a lie!" he growled.

"it isn't ALL a lie you dobe!" Sasu yelled at him angrily

"what are you talking about?" he asked, glaring at the Uchiha.

"The part when I said that you were my friend! THAT WAS TRUE!" he yelled again, clenching his fists together. Ren stepped back in shock, eyes widened again as he stared at Sasu.

"F-friend...?" a lump formed in his throat as he swallowed. "b-but we fight all the time.." he stuttered.

Sasu closed his eyes and let out a long breath. "I know that..but for some reason...I can relate to you more than anyone else, I feel closer to you than I do to anyone else...no one takes the time to pay any attention to me, I know I act rude sometimes..but I can't really help it." he said, lowering his head for a moment then let out a small sigh.

"a-ano..."Ren stood there in shock again, he didn't know what to say, what COULD he say anyway? he was completely blown away.

Once again Sasu shoved the bag into Ren's face "Take it." he said bluntly.

"t-teme..." was all Ren managed to get out, he stared at Sasu then cracked a small smile. He took the gift from Sasu's "thanks..Sasu.." he mumbled, then a small smile began to appear on his face.

"whatever.." Sasu grumbled stuffing both hands into his pockets and began to walk away, but then paused a moment and looked back at Ren. "Hey...happy birthday..dobe.." he said smiling and walked away again.

Ren laughed softly "hmmph..teme.." he said to himself and continued to walk.

Lee ruffled his son's hair again and smiled. Ren looked up at him "yup! this is gonna be the best birthday ever!" he said with a huge grin plastered on his face.
