This was my first series EVER! Literally, as soon as I saw this picture, I felt like I was going to cry!!! It's been such a long time since I've thought about FY, and it's really the manga that started everything for me. Oh my gosh, I LOVE FUSHIGI YUUGI! It was my favorite series growing up and I still love revisiting it for that nostalgic effect! One of my first anime series! This is such a lovely piece of work, thank you for making it!

I grew up on this series. Maybe that's a part of the reason why my friends are comparing my style to Yuu Watase. It's an influence. But honestly, I don't see the similarities of my works to her. >__<

FY fanart, yay!! The Suzaku Seishi were what this series was all about (or at least what plunged me so hopelessly into the fandom). I still have posters hanging in my closet. >.>;
Just a thought on your con fanart: When it's mainstream you tend to stick with very basic compositions and poses, which I think doesn't do justice to your talent. You're very good at drawing action and scenes--especially emotional scenes. Even if it's main stream content, buyers might be more delighted to see scenes of favorite characters rather than just stock poses/group shots.
Nevertheless, I still adore Nuriko's highly Nuriko-like pose here. >o< Wha, and the others are perfectly in character too.
