Looks to be a tricky place to capture well, Craig. You've got the direction of the Sun controlling the light and shadows; very complex terrain with different levels of detail and texture; and a slight feeling of claustrophobia with the mountains coming down to encircle you. OTOH, there are nice lead lines from the burn and powerful sense of rugged strength. As you hint on my recent TS image, a panorama approach may well be beneficial.

Thanks for your comments David and sorry for late reply. It is like a natural amphitheatre, have been a few times and it is huge and you are usually the only person there. It's pretty awe inspiring really but is hard to get over in a picture. Was lucky enough to see a herd of deer in it once. Nice video - gives a broader view. Yes, quite a place to photograph. Definitely needs a pano approach, but there looks to be several places for different wide angle shots. Another approach would be to concentrate on the burn with its serpentine curves, and let the crags form a backdrop. Yes, I could imagine at least a morning's photo shoot there.
