A couple of months ago, I ordered a lineart from the great and powerful a talented Pugletto , who is more active in Tumblr but also has an account in dA: Pugletz . I asked her to draw my and MegLindsey 's Hou Tian roleplaying characters, a married couple Yuu and Tega Senkei , waltzing.

When I showed the lineart to Meg, she was enthusiastic to color it, but she said that she wasn't much a fan of shading things. So I offered to shade it. I first wanted to shade it so that they would be a dim nice romantic place. Then I drew Fire Nation festival-y flames. Then I splashed orange and yellow here and there. Then things got out of the hands, in a good way Experimental shading at the best, I think that this is one of the best shadings that I have ever done!
