I finished it after all. =____=I just blew up the small version and painted over it.
And she has black hair.
And the background is... uh... not that great. I can't... do backgrounds for shit...
But I will try to work on it more if I can.
C&C would be appreciated.

This looks great, and the background is fine. Don't bash yourself because most of the time people won't even notice anything is wrong until you point it out.

Very coolness. Still makes me think of a chesspiece.... and still in a good way. I like how you do shading that's shading but also... I dunno... not. It's surreal. Like, some parts correspond to lightness and darkness and some just gradient of their own accord. Very dream-like. This is really interesting, in lack of colour n' all that... I like that. Maybe I'm just weird.... myeah. Folio this, or at least one of these colour-interesting surreal things. X3

If you want... like a floor n' such... but you don't need to fill ALL the black, certainly. And don't FORCE the pic into a background if it's better without it... myeah.

I did draw his hair pale before... but I changed it to black because I thought it'd be more of a contrast... heh.

Wow! Lovely! I think as far as critiques go... I think the hair should have more shine, so as to blend in with the rest of the coloring style of the character. At this point it sort of stands out. Also, I think that the head is a bit off, like, the neck position looks uncomfortable.
I love this piece, though. The character design is SO rad.

I really like this one a lot, I'm glad.
Hm, it takes on a different atmosphere with the black hair.
I like the grated window in the background - very cool!
But the costume and weapon are the best parts of the picture.
