I had no idea this would happen today, I started doodling and it just fell together almost exactly like how I pictured him in my head. Wow.The only problem I have (aside from the style - this isn't cartoony enough, but I'll fix that in future artwork - this is the design I want) is that he looks somewhat like a Jack Russel terrier, which is what I saw in my head, but he is supposed to be a large character, so he's going to be big compared to everyone else, which might look a little strange.
...Or not, maybe I'm overthinking it. xD
Anyway here's Kevin, and with that, I have the designs down for all the main Ghostbusters characters as dogs!
YAY.
(If you're curious, Patty's got a body design, but I posted it only on Patreon because it was super rough. It exists though.)

Why thank you! Some have suggested he be a golden retriever instead, and that is genius, so I may try that too... but also, looking at this design again, I think he needs to be bulkier somehow! xD

Y'know, something just dawned on me.
Amaterasu's main job in Okami was to destroy evil spirits, right?
So, wouldn't that make her like some kind of ancient Ghostbuster?

Kevin is totally a Golden Retriever. Big, silly, not that bright, but they love you nonetheless.

Haha, you're not the only one who suggested that, actually! And I think it's a really good idea! But this was the first idea I had in my head, and I had a real attachment to it. xD

Sorry I didn't respond to you this weekend. I had to go to an officer's retreat for my drill team and we can't have any electronics but our phones, and even then it wasn't for long.
