One of the things I've been up to over my last month or so of silence.This is a work-in-progress doodle of an illustration I was hired to draw for an anthology of short adult furry-themed stories that will be published this spring/summer by Sofawolf Press. I can't upload the final image until publication, of course. ;D I'll probably be plugging the anthology as soon as it's on the shelves, so look for updates (the story illustrated here is called "Facing Sunset, Facing Dawn," and is hands-down the best furry story I've ever read).
3 hours work at this stage. Adobe Photoshop CS1.

Oh, cool!!! I still wanna read the stories, though. I'm as much a novel reader as a manga/comic reader. (My younger brother collects comics while I lack money to collect mangas. xD)
I hope I can pick up a copy, then. When will they come out in print?

Mangas and comics were a major strain on my wallet during high school. x'D Fortunately I've more or less lost interest in them due to time (and money) constraints recently. x_x;
I'm not sure when they'll be released, but I know the deadline for final revisions and the artwork is April 1st, so then it's up to the editors to finish things up. I'm thinking it should be out sometime early this summer, hopefully. ^^ I'll probably write up a journal about it when it does (and of course I'll get to upload the final versions of my doodles then, as well).

Yeah, I know of places that allow you to read manga online, but that's just wrong. Go out and buy the manga to read it (or to a library). It shows you support that manga artist(s) and series AND that you prefer real-life reading to online...though it's sometimes easier to read them online. *shrugs*
How much do you think it'll cost for the book? I'm getting so excited about it, and it's no where near time to get it...>,>;; I'ma have to start saving soon.

Yeah, I definitely prefer to read hard copies to online scans; I don't know why, I just love holding the book in my hands, I guess. xD I've even been known to buy printed books of my favorite web comics, just because I love having them in hard copy. >.>
And I honestly have no idea what it'll cost. I don't think it'll be very pricey, though. I don't really know much of anything about the anthology except what very little I've been told/allowed to read to get the illustration done (I'm not even sure if they're releasing it in hardcover or paperback or both). I'm excited myself to read the other stories that I haven't been given access to. xD
