Morgan, 's character, as a darkelf... 3 months ago I told myself I wanted to make a fanart of one of her characters, and after 5 or 6 attempts (all failed XD) I choosed to make a portrait of Morgan... and I couldn't resist to make him tatooes, like my dark elves
I choosed him because he makes me think about one of my own characters (who is a dark elf). In every reference and picture of him, he was looking serious, angry, suffering, but never happy or smiling... And I find him very charismatic ^^
Unfortunately my scanner is too stupid and has massacred the drawing *bites her scanner* I don't really know how it works, but someday I'll know... the original picture is better

And someday I'll make a better version of him, this one does not really satisfies me, but it's the best version I could make during these 3 months, so... sorry it's not really good

Well, since you (and everybody else) already knows that your art and faces are fantastic (as this one is too) I think I'll comment on something else!

Well, I was working on my last D&D character, but someone has taken my ability to draw humans and elves, so I've decided to draw dragons

Hah, this is awesome! Gorgeous portrait of Morgan, I love the tones in the shading and especially the background. The face markings are great, roo, they fit him rather well, I think. And you nailed that sullen expression, hee. You even remembered his scar. Despite what the evil scanner ate, I really like this! Thank you so much! Hmm,... The best advice I can give you is : practice, and draw for fun, do not feel obliged to draw... To my mind this kind of feeling is not good, even if sometimes you must try new things to progress... Draw for yourself
My own motivation is quite sporadic, especially these days, so...

Well... I draw when I've an "image" of a picture in my head... How can I explain that ? XD
I love dreaming and imagining stories, so sometimes an "image" comes to my mind and I just try to draw it... I don't know if I could call this "creativity". But I must say that the result is never what I expected 
But if you don't know what you want to draw, maybe you can try different things : characters, landscapes, abstract... there's many things to draw... Maybe you can try to make a few sketches of different things... It could help you. I don't know if it's a good thing to do, I've never tried

Yes, I have a lot of different ideas, but I wish to draw all of them. Unfortunatelly, more of them are not so satisfied, so I throw out it. Besides, I'm a little scared that picture wasn't so good that I want. That's a major reason I don't draw as much, as I want to...
About different things... well, I tried such solution, but very quickly I discovered, that I can't draw architecture and landscapes - it's too static for me, and I have some problems with perspective. That's why I draw people.

You know, I throw away most of my ideas, it's sometimes discouraging ! I finish the drawing which makes me the more "enthousiatic". For one week, I can make 10 sketches... and sometimes I don't finish any attempt... XD So I could say that I don't draw as much as I want, too
