Description I shot some expired Efke 120 infrared on my Holga about...2 years ago, and finally got around to developing it this week.

As always, I'm so entranced by the ethereal, strange quality of infrared film. It's charming and strange. Not the best quality scans in the world, the prints are absolutely beautiful, but still pretty.

And I love the charm of my Holga as well. As you can see, there's light leaks everywhere, and some bright spots, and focusing issues (due to the taped on IR filter, more than likely). But it somewhat epitomizes the appeal of film, and old cameras to me, in many ways.

Got a few of these I'll upload that I really liked.

Definitely! I wish infrared weren't so expensive to shoot these days, because it really is wonderful.

Oh sweet !!
I'm lurking around to buy a IR filter for my brand new T4i and Canon 10-22mm but it's hard to find the best one

I love and adore my Hoya RM-72 filter. That's what I used for this one, and it really does give some spectacular results, though in this case, using it on a Holga wasn't perfect

haha
I was wondering how do you mainly use your IR ?
Use set a b/w balance on grass (on green) and shoot in colors or do you simply use a monochrome "capture" mode of your dslr ?

I keep it simple - shoot film!

Great photo old cameras may not give the clearest shots or the highest definition but they certainly give the coolest looks, and the best effects

Thank you! I love the technical imperfections of film, really. It gives more character!
