Welcoming the year of rabbit 2011 featuring the GazettE.
I've decided to draw them based on a picture where they were wearing Hakamas.

I tried using SAI for this piece, though I only did it for the lineart. I couldn't get used to the colouring. =w=

I wouldn´t call myself a gaze-lover anymore since they´ve become so disappointing

Lately, their newest singles have been quite a
let down, with the exception of pledge.
Ever since they changed to mainstream label,
I feel that they have been restricted to make music
that is truly 'the GazettE'.
But music style changes overtime and I favored them
way more than all the junk in the radios these days.

Gaga is a failure..lol
Anyway, in my opinion there are many japanese rockbands that are way better than the 'holy' Gazette. Everybody talks about them, loves them, but I wonder why. They may be good, but have you ever listened to Muccs "Karma"-Album? Or the "Lotus"-Single of Dir en grey? It beats every Gaze-single of the last two years easily..
On the other hand Dir en grey will always be too huge for Gazette 8D

Haha so true. Diru will probably be one of the top
bands of all times. Though I think that GazettE have
come a pretty long way, a lot of bands goes in a hiatus
and gradually disband. However I think that
GazettE really needs a break. ):
I don't really listen to Dir en Grey,
only song I've ever listened to was obscure
and that left me feeling 'obscure' after watching
the pv. xD

think about themselves and exploit bands
for their greediness. >_>
I know that GazettE has a pretty big fan base
in Europe and America, but it's not fair that
they don't have the will to travel there, since
the company is so afraid of losing finance.

Fans were rude, the weather wasn´t good and so on. They´re just searching for a reason not to come here, if you ask me. To me, they aren´t important anyway. lol

Some bands have a german label too, so many CDs aren´t so expensive for us anymore. But not all.

I agree. I think Aoi doesn't suit light coloured hair.
Pretty much everybody who is in a vk band has used
excessive amount of bleaching, perm, hairspray and
other hair products which result in a dry and overly
dead looking hair. But hey there's photoshop. xD

Dir en grey used to have a pretty extreme VK-Look too ten years ago and Dais hair isn´t dry or death xD

Oh I thought they are still vk since they still
have that vk-ish look, but again nowadays the look of
vk seems to be more brighter now compared to the older days.
Haha yeah Diru have come a pretty long way, from being a hardcore
vk band to pretty casual looking, but dark aura feel rock band.
