White Tigers aren't a subspecies, they're normal tigers with a mutation that gives them their white fur.
In fact, only 20% don't have any external mutations, and they're all unhealthy and live shorter lives than others. Ones that don't look right are put down, and people inbreed them to create for white tigers.

Thanks^^ but did you know that White tigers and white lions have been used in canned hunts in South Africa, and there are white tigers being bred on Asian tiger farms, to be killed for their body parts. In China white tigers are made into wine.

OMG, that's horrible!!! I knew that the main reason for their extinction is their fur, but I didn't know they tortured them that much
