But fshgndgfh the little cutie's like a cross between Rukia and Mawile-- I can't help but love it instantly.

Sorry Vailo, but I have to disagree. Personally I think Elikiteru looks kind of dumb, however, if you like it then I won't fault you for it.

I love it as a four-legged puppylizard, but I'll accept that the way the anime's showing it primarily two-legged is a little stupid.
It's just hard to see fault in something that feels so similar to an old OC, is all.

Yeah, I can understand were you're coming from. Personally I don't like it because it's design seem "awkward" to me. For one, it's head looks to big for its neck.

This little guy at least has the right neck thickness for its body, unlike the other.

I'm wondering whether Normal typing's implying more mammal-like features in later forms-- after all, it kind of resembles a puppy with those ear things going on?
Or if there's going to be something with its stats that either needs the Fighting weakness or the Ghost resistance to balance it out...
But then, there's also been Pokemon that lose their normal typing when they evolve, like Azurill and Swablu. So who knows

Dragon would be cool... Maybe an electric dragon, i mean it is a lizard... I noticed they hasn't released the usual normal rat thing... Maybe this the first normal rat thing that is not a rat... Maybe that us why it is a normal type

Possible, too-- In Gen 4 they did give us super early access to an Electric type, so it's not something unheard of.
But it would be kind of terrible to see such a cute thing get lumped in with the "useless" group.
