Hope and Dispair

Xearo is one of three dragons, gender unspecific, that make up the life force of Axe, who is both a character from Nowamaea and my drasona. The three dragons are both representative of different sides of Axe, and of a number of songs which I relate to closely.

So far, as far as Axe is conserned, all I have is that when the White Dragon was reborn from the sacrificed body of Aeglaeca she fled from most of the fighting, still beeing weak, and took a group of dragons on as her close guard. When she became strong enough three of those soldier's, one representing each member of the breed (green, red and blue) became her personal vangaurd the others becoming generals of the dragons fighting against the wyrms. The three gender unspecified dragons who currently have no names, risked life and limb to protect her as her death heralded the end of the world.

They became as rooted in history as their Queen, the Red symbolising Hate/Love, the Green Dispair/Hope (or Pain/Redemption depending on where you are) and the Blue: Fear/Bravery. When the Red Dragon was mortally wounded in battle the Blue and Green stood by it until they too were struck down and poisoned. The Queen gave them one last chance at life, their lifeforces being enough to create one single form. Axe, who's name was derived from the origional three's names.

Axe near the end of the war was killed but the story of how this occured is unknown, or rather there are tons of them. Due to the Queen's disappearance, some believe that she died and Axe flew to the place where Ancenned was due to arise and destroy the world, they battled and both were destroyed. Others say that the Queen survived and vanished underground at the end of the war and that Axe had died fighting the wyrms. Either way, her spirits, now seperated again attempted to rise to the heavens, but on the far side of the sun, the unknown sister planet, (Telperion until we have a better name) had the first of the Magi Flowers appearing, and they followed the stream of magic around the sun to that planet, it was the beginning of the magic drought on Nowamaea and the start of dragons on Telperion. The three spirits were again reincarnated as Axe, but fragments of their beings scattered across the planet: bringing forth the Eastern, Western and Desert dragons.

One day I might edit the colouring, but half way through finishing the head my hand started to really give me grief, so the rest of the body looks really rushed TT^TT
