Ok this gets a +fav, I couldn't agree more with the sentiment. The concept of melancholy being a comfort zone is a constant theme in my work. So this makes a connection with me. The symbolism is apt too.

i really love this, the surrealism alive and well in most of your works but this also has a softer more vulnerable feel to it, unlike many of your what i would call "mechanical" peices they remind me of i think his name is giger
the touch of blue is perfect and the head in the hands is beautifully done
a definate fave on this one well done

im doing pretty well, i keep getting tonsilitis, its not anything other than annoying actually, im thinking i should just just get them taken out.

Yes, melancholy can be really beautiful. So beautiful. Sometimes I feel melancolic and I don't want this to stop cause it's so "perfect", so... I don't find the words.
I really like the concept, and the entire image but the cup. I find it ugly; it has nothing to do with the flammes, I don't know why. Maybe it's better: it separates the "tragic", "hard" side of melancholy and the burning side, the one we find beautiful.

I also do love the feeling and feel so inspired to create when i feel that way.
I can understand that you dont like the cup , but atleast there are certain elements that you so like.
When i create i never really know what the outcome is i just keep going until i feel satisfied.

Man, this year is going to be a great one, im going to concentrate really hard with the art and make lots of pieces.
We are just trying to get a company started , this year we want to become independant , no more working for bosses. Still living in the same place, it is beautiful and we are happy there.
Life is cool , we just want to start making things better and try earn some extra cash.
We printed 24 T-shirts with mine and charle's designs and are very happy with the way they look, we want to try sell them, charle has also started to make awsome bracelets out if silver and semi precious stones, so we will try and sell those too.
My mother is living in London now too, so she is trying to get us work permits so that we can go and join her there, there is a small positbility that we can get over there, so i hope so , if so we will be able to come visit you in Canada .
