This is Ross, reinvented as a royal knight with a vendetta against all humans! He lost his eye to humans... Along with a few other things painful to let go of. this is a part of a fantasy/medieval times AU in the works for the story Caught.

Here's a brief except:

Her mouth went dry and she hurried to her feet. The court room ceiling was almost invisible to her; she couldn't have a hope of guessing how high it reached. Thick wrought iron chandeliers, primitive in design, flamed overhead, and the stone walls were adorned with intricate tapestries and framed paintings. A snarling emblem of some unnameable beast hung on the wall she faced, and beneath that were two monumental thrones, occupied by a giant and giantess in regal, ocean-like garbs.

But what really stopped her heart was the view when she glanced to her sides. Scores of giants looked on from their seats, some grim and others with expressions of surprise. Standing with his arms behind his back next to one of the rows was a man who she had to presume was the one her captor had spoken to outside. There was something very familiar about him, though she had never seen him in her life.

Oh God. He's real.

The fabled one-eyed monster. The Cyclops. So many rumours about a particularly savage giant had sprung up in the last couple of years. So many cautionary tales about the sadistic warrior - nearly a hundred feet tall, they said - who would kill a human as soon as look at them. Or worse. Everyone claimed to know someone who had fallen prey to him. She knew him by the thick black patch that replaced his right eye, barely covering the scarred and stitched socket. His good eye glared back at her, gleaming under the candlelight.
