Description
For those concerned the close up perspective wasn't clearly fetish enough...there's physical restraint and abstract restraint.My question would be...which is more potent and under what circumstances?

I guess this one, in the other one the model looks too relaxed she doesn't convey that she is bound or in any sort of predicament. She is at peace. Only till you she this shot is the scene exposed. And here too she seems rather resigned to being in this position. Just my thoughts.

Both probably appeal differently to different groups - some prefer the explicit restraint as if it was obligatory, some like things more subtle and implied (I think the split among these is not equal for men and women, personally).

Both images are powerful but in different ways.
This one for the obvious restraint seen through the eyes of the observer as submissions or capture.
The last one as I commented on it is powerful but in a more indirect fashion, with the tools of the trade so to speak inferred.
I like them both, but think that the more indirect version is more artistic because it makes the viewer work harder

How do you define 'temporal restraint'? Is it restraint over a period of time?
In answer to your question, I'd say that it would depend -- harder restraint over a shorter time period might be more potent than looser restraint over a longer period. And of course the personal preferences of the restrainee count for a lot.
