There's this thing called an arena where you can fight battles infinitely and gain exp and gold infinitely so long as you don't lose. Some people hack the arena so that they can't lose by messing with the random number generator; they'll make it so that the enemy's accuracy is 20 or that their chance of getting a critical is one percent. However, the random number generator is just flat out cruel sometimes and defies hacks and luck, and it WILL destroy your characters.
Some players put up videos on youtube of other times when the game pretty much "hacks you back."

The random number generator gives you the best luck or the worst luck. Some fans even call it the random number goddess because of it's just that powerful. I don't because we had to kill a goddess once, and that wasn't fun. I don't want to put up with another one.
Well, people have tried to hack Dissidia, but I think Dissidia was more forgiving than Fire Emblem EVER was.
