definitely, the plot was so jumpy, even to this day I did not understand anything about the time loop and stuff.

I have nightmares about figuring out just what the hell this game wants you to do half of the time.

You know you've read too much 8-bit theater when you see a picture of a black mage smiling and think he's kicking a puppy or something. yeahhh... But this made me laugh, too. XD

If only I had been aware of 8-bit theater and how funnier it was. Alas!

Is that "I WILL KNOCK YOU ALL DOWN!" part a reference to 8-bit theater?

Solidchaos In reply to FinalFatality7 [2013-01-18 00:37:59 +0000 UTC]
nope, honest translation used in the original final fantasy by Garland himself

Man, what a crappy comic this was. xD
No, it's a Final Fantasy reference.

I still need to go back an edit the dialogue on this crappy thing. xD;
You get the gist of it though.

Who cares? FF1 came at the time where game plot's where about stoned vanila ice fighters and toads with steroids saving some girl

Someone should make a FF1 Aftermath, fanfiction, comic series, game or otherwise.

Yup. Although a prologue would better explain how the hell they got the orbs (or crystals or whatever) to begin with.

I think it's completely plausible for 4 children with no armor and no talent to carry the destiny of the world in their hands for no reason.
...Yes.

I'm currently playing this on PSP. It's awright (though a bit boring and predictable), but I keep getting lost on the world map LOL

To qoute my friend:
"In Final Fantasy 1, you rescue a princess, and then get some completely random items just so you can fight some random dude who is really Garland....Yeah, let's go play Dissidia. It's got the same final boss, only COOLER."

ObstinateMelon In reply to Xerchisha [2010-12-21 04:31:39 +0000 UTC]
It makes sense up until the princess part. Then the game is like "...Well, what now?".

Xerchisha In reply to ObstinateMelon [2010-12-21 19:19:02 +0000 UTC]
I know...especially since you need to find out about everything on your own, so you're pretty much wandering around prior to anything...
š: 0 ā©: 1
ObstinateMelon In reply to Xerchisha [2010-12-23 01:00:49 +0000 UTC]
The only thing you find out that makes the game seem even a little important is that the orbs/crystals are special, when you learn that from the sages. But after that's all said and done it's like "Okay............so, what now?".

FF2 is surprisingly straight forward, I couldn't make it that long. I could replace Garland with the Emperor with the same lines though, lol. "It was me all along!"
And it would be funny because lots of people would just die in the same panel they appear.

Evieeeee [2010-09-19 11:27:26 +0000 UTC]
loll i love the forth panel.. so many thing .. just to blow up the DAMN wall.. is it really that hard? couldn't they go over or around?or for that matter use mini.. silly people! but it made me laugh!
