Today i made a drawing of (Uncle) Scrooge McDuck with his grand-nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie in the style of the original 80's Ducktales.
IMO the best Ducktales. I'm not a fan of the reboot at all. I like the stories based on all the original comics just better, and the style and voices. Also, i never want to draw that many coins ever again. I gave up at some point to be honest.
Took me a while to draw this. I just wanted it to be good to my own satisfaction. I tried to make Ducktales fanart for almost 5 years now.. and i always ended up rejecting it. I'm happy about his piece and how it turned out, even when i made a mistake when i started this in march last year and then again abonded it for a 13 months. It's a simple drawing of my favorite characters of the show just having a conversation about money and the economy i like to think.
Wanted to draw Launchpad here aswell, but decided not to. He gets his own fanart some day.
