Bandit as a puppy, the first day we got her. This is also how she got her name - my mom came home from work shorty after this and when Bandit went to greet her my mom said "You look like a little Bandit." So the name stuck, much to my sister's dismay.
She wanted to call her "Mesquite," (pronounced Miss-keet, like the tree) which was actualy my suggestion, but it was too long.

Bandit was a stray - she woke my parents up on a Sunday by howling underneath their window. Needless to say, she never left.
