In celebration of the Warcraft movie coming out next month, I thought it'd be neat to at least draw a bust shot of different characters I like from World of Warcraft every week leading up to the movie's release. The first one is of course Alexstrasza. I always thought her design was really neat, especially the horns and hair. Too bad we failed, but I like the couple things we did manage to finish. I like the details in her armor here, stuff like this was a sweet spot for Blizzard before they started over detailing their armor.

Yeah, the armor know is just fucking stupid detailed...was looking at the new priest sets on WoWhead today. Too much shit going on man.
I'll probably revisit WoW fanart eventually reguardless. It's just that no one else seemed to care about it, so I stopped doing them lol

I'm pretty glad you stuck with doing tones on this one. I feel like for bigger, more epic characters, it's fitting. I feel like it'd be interesting to see you do a full body of her [even though the details would be an absolute bitch lol] And like I said in person, I really like how you did the shiny parts on her, especially the gems.
