First appearance: Banjo-Tooie (2000)

Lord Woo Fak Fak from ”Banjo-Tooie”. He is a grumpy old anglerfish that resides in the murky depths beneath Jolly Roger’s Lagoon. When the duo enter Lord Woo Fak Fak’s locker, he thinks that they are going to drain his home and kill him (snarker Kazooie doesn't seem to deny it), so he starts a fight against them. The aged anglerfish attacks by shooting energy blasts from his lure, and by trapping the duo in bubbles.

The eponymous Lord is considered to be one of the most annoyingly hard bosses in the game, but I didn’t find him too hard to beat (it probably helps that I fought him in the Submarine form on my first try). The hardest part was probably to find his weak point, took me way too long to realise what it was. Neat boss area too; darkly-lit and subaquatic as it was, it really felt like encountering the lord of all infernal beings of the abyss.
Lord Woo Fak Fak's design was pretty cool, a good blend between cartoonish and semi-realistic, which made him both scary and funny-looking. Also, he probably had the best dialogue of of all the bosses, as it really made him sound like a crotchety old man (especially those lines after he's been defeated).

This one wasn't too hard to do, actually. The hardest part was the lighting, as it comes from a single and very prominent source. I could have made even harder contrast in the shading, but considering it's set underwater, it may not be needed. Maybe even more bubbles wouldn't hurt, but otherwise I'm very happy with how this turned out!
