A gift for my step *dad's birthday.It's actually a card, but I did the paper filigree on the front.
Inside, I compared her to Batman in the way that they're both just regular people with no superpowers, but they still kick ass and she's still my hero.
This project took three long days.

You can buy quilling paper at hobby stores. They're long strips, and you can cut them to whatever length you need, and then you just curl them and shape them as you like and glue them down. It's very time consuming, but it's a lot of fun and it's pretty relaxing.
