Lots of snow today. This is from my drive to work, before the snow and winds picked up.Related content

how in the world did you get the snowflakes to show? I took some pictures today while it was snowing and they wouldn't show up.

On this particular image, I did perform a "Sharpen More" in Photoshop before posting, but the flakes were already there, just less intense.
It could be a question of lighting, or perhaps camera resolution...
Another possibility - sad as it may be - is that my camera takes fairly slow images (ISO 100 equivalent, sometimes worse), which may give the snow time to move and make itself more significant.
Running on longer than is reasonable, there is also the possibility of average-flake-size differential. If my pictures were taken during a "large flake" period, and yours in a "small flake" period, you might not see the falling snow.
