Description It's been a bit since I've posted any sketches and whatnot so I figured I'll throw a few of the things sitting around on tumblr up on here. These three were from a couple months ago c:

This was me mainly trying to figure out profile shapes for different Divines. I want somewhat of a solid theme to their look, but honestly I want it to vary from individual to individual. So where they usually have the multi-horned, feathers, and flat nosed faces, with elongated necks, there could be others who contradict that entirely. That would be due to their living so close to the Allrian (or actually off it) allowing for some weird mutations (personally done or acquired biologically). These guys are fun to work on, even though they’re technically gone. The more I can flesh out with them and other races involved in the cataclysm the more I can develop Orinacria, Gairain, and the untouched areas of their world.

I've got a ways to go in fleshing out all the ideas I have for them, but it was nice finding a look to work off of.

I like the bottom lefts smooth horns, but the one on the right with the spit chin, I do like how they all vary but retain the similarities that link them!

Thank you!
They're really fun to draw for some reason! It seems like they keep getting more and more varied the more I draw them, but that's kind of my goal in a way because of the conditions they live in (I don't want to call them nuclear-esque conditions but living off the Allrian can do some biologically interesting things to a population). So it's just fun to keep that theme and see how far I can stretch it. I don't even want to begin to think how varied their pure forms would be.

buH THEY'RE BEAUTIFUL but actually. A lot like the headdresses I had planned for the Royal family of my species... obviously a bit different. Really, they're so cool. (:

The amount of thought you've been into them is really amazing. The horns make me giddy. You're lines are just... how do you get them to seem to light and airy?
