There. She ain't much of plain jane anymore. I've been meaning to post this up sometime last month.
Her dress pattern is supposed to represent clouds,and it kinda feels like it came from the 1950's.

She's visually way more interesting and developed both in art and her character, but she doesn't look happy anymore, ever. I liked the old Vern that seemed a little more cheery and fun. With Blight, James and the bunch I can see why she'd be ticked off all the time, but I think you should show she's not always ticked off. It makes he come off as being a bit of a bitch. Like no matter what, she's pissed or stressed. I would really like to see this style of Vern, but in her happy, cheery, affectionate, adorable old self.

Sigh yeah, I barely draw her genuinely happy, unless she's around James or something, and I like drawing her "mad". She's just being tsundere, anyway.
To me, she's still warming up to the others.
I'll draw her being blissful some time.

No seriously this is a great outfit redesign, it's definitely the best out of all you've experimented with in my opinion. It's the most interesting but still retains such a joyful simplicity, little details like the cute bubbly cloudies at the bottom with the bedazzled dots. Great job!
