haha.. i'm not really sure how anything could or couldnt be lovecratian enough... He leaves far too much to the imagination. Anyone that reads him is often left to his/her own interpretations. no worries mate. Not everyone's gonna see things the way you do.

yeh, thats what I said, Since the 20's there's been a whole army of illustrators who interpret his creatures in many different ways
This creature of mine was a bit 'Dagon' inspired and I cannot recall Lovecraft describing all of the inhabitants, so yeah, he leaves a lot to the imagination

Hmmmm, hes almost too putrid to tell, but he could be taken as an exception...that proves the rule
Its interresting, cause this is one of the basic gender stereotypes and its kinda funny to see that it doesnt work only on TV or in advertisements but that it permeates to drawing monsters as well

you might be right, but I have slightly different motives...It's more a personal favour. The male figure doesn't fascinate me at all, I don't see the aestetic beauty of it;
I don't deny it either, but it's just not something I can get into... The femine figure fascinates and excites me, and I not only wanna portray her beauty, but also her power, wisdom, and creativity.
Furthermore, don't be sorry, I enjoy sociological interludes
