I hope Mario appears in the DVD version of Ralph Breaks the Internet. That version will give Mario a second chance at appearing in it, although his scenes might be considered filler. I really want him in that version. Is that so wrong?

On DVD/Blu-Ray it's will practically the same version as in the theaters, and if you mean the deleted scenes where that character was used, Well, if in the first movie there wasn't a deleted scene with Mario, in the sequel it won't be either, and in the making off, it's prioritized more the story of the protagonists and the other Disney characters is prioritized, not the cameos of external franchises.
A connection between Mario and Wreck-It Ralph is much easier to imagine or make fandom with, but it can't never make it official, although as much as they ask Disney & Nintendo to put Mario in that kind of movies, they will never listen to you, because you represent nothing more than a simple annoyance.
